Elizabeth Goodall’s focus for mental health treatment is compassionate, strength-based, and goal-oriented, while creating a positive and fun environment for personal growth. In addition to having a strong background in private practice, community-based, and school-based mental health counseling, she also maintains her status as a RYT at a local yoga studio where she teaches.
Her special focus areas for treatment interventions are mindfulness exercises, including CBT to focus on reality-based thinking processes and increasing positivity. Elizabeth has participated in extensive training for DBT and has utilized these principles with both teenagers and adults. She has also completed training for ITR trauma work (Instinctual Trauma Response) . The majority of her work experience revolves around issues including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, borderline personality traits, self-harm, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma, family therapy, and group counseling.
